Coaching biography

2002-

1:1 executive coaching with business leaders 1000 + hours at senior manager, partner or director level with more than 250 individual leaders

Typically, my coachees are involved running either a corporate business group or service line within a large plc, or heading up a small charity, or running a school or church. The coaching agenda often includes:
-leadership and management- styles and approaches;
-resolving team problems;
-growing the commercial success of the business;
-self understanding, meaning and purpose in leadership;
-managing up and down the line;
-life transitions- career change, business shift etc...

Examples of impact:
- Enabling the lead of a major UK consulting business to manage out of the business several negative directors, bring in fresh leadership and momentum to th e practice and dramatically transform the engagement and leadership scores of the business, to become the firms flagship consulting business.

- Enabling the owner of a successful group of schools in London to implement a successful succession plan for leadership of the business; including managing complex founder syndrome issues, sibling rivalries and strategic growth plans for the business.

- Enabling the owner of a successful corporate events management business to make a critical business decision- by helping her negotiate a difficult management process and being clear on her own needs and issues

- Enabling a Headteacher on sick leave for stress to return successfully to his job; this involved helping him develop a different understanding of his self, develop better management of conflict in the team, resolve personal trauma affecting his performance, establish good routines for school management

- Enabling the leader of a global charity to cope with burden of stress, understand his own emotional drivers, re-align his focus and develop a sustainable pattern of life and work, as well as re-shape his senior management team
