The theory of Human Ecology offers a commentary on the structure of social groups, communities and societies.
This social applications of this theory to a specific context have been most fully articulated, at the time of writing, in 'Leading With Everything to Give, Lessons from the Success and Failure of Western Capitalism', Piquant, 2008.
Human Ecology theory provides insight into the behaviour of social groups, the dynamics of idea generation and uptake, the patterning of social revolutions and the nature of social power.
Human Ecology theory has been successfully applied to team analysis in organisations, to behaviour in schools, to political policy, to macro economics.
